We started humbly in 1981 with a plant in Guwahati (Assam) to manufacture ERW pipe for the North-Eastern market. In addition to competitive pricing, NEZONE products soon travelled far beyond North East India.
After this success, we expanded our manufacturing capacity at Dankuni, near Kolkata, in 1990. Our facility also produces Cold Rolled Close Annealed (CRCA) Strips and Precision Tubes. Kolkata’s plant is strategically positioned to serve customers around the globe quickly. With the liberalization of the Indian economy, new opportunities opened up.
A surge in domestic demand followed the implementation of economic liberalization at the turn of the century. By 2004, we opened another plant in Byrnihat (Meghalaya).
Nezone’s prominence stems from its skilled workforce, who have grown with us, gained invaluable experience, and continue to delight customers, empowering us to embrace new challenges with confidence.
Eventually, Nezone Group established a new plant in Ranipet (Tamil Nadu) as well as in Kalinganagar (Odisha).
Today the company has plants in Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Odisha and Tamil Nadu supplying its products throughout India with a dealer network. With our skilled workforce, our combined capacity exceeds 1,000,000 tonnes.
